A gem in Urbanna. My wife & I have stayed at this Inn each year for several years except for 2020. In fact, our recent stay was our first at any hotel in the past year because of COVID. The Inn was immaculate and our room was recently renovated. Procedures were put in place which limited contact. We felt very confident in the safety protocols in place. In addition to that piece of mind the room was very comfortable and quiet. The room had a microwave, refrigerator and a basket full of snacks. Its very simply a great place to stay. We will definitely return as soon as we can.

Aside from the friendly atmosphere, and the fact that this is one of the last places in USA where you can leave your keys in the car, and the bicycles and kayaks they have for visitors to use …. free. These guys go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I like 100% cotton sheets. They went out and bought a set for me, same day. Thank you! Oh and I forgot. There are a number of really nice restaurants all around them.

This place is definitely worth it. They went above and beyond for us during our stay and we really appreciated the laid back atmosphere. Many extra amenities with no extra charge. Rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. A home away from home, would definitely recommend.

My husband Ed and I had the most amazing stay at The Chesapeake Inn. We are in town just one night for a research trip we are on for a movie about the life of a racehorse. We haven’t slept that good in months! What a lovely place!

Fantastic boutique hotel with all of the spoils. Very clean, inviting, quiet. Free bikes, kayaks, coffee, cornhole games and a great courtyard.

Comfortable beds, linens, great water pressure in the shower. This is a fantastic hotel.

Just stayed at this amazing property and highly recommend. First, the property is beautifully decorated and maintained. The room has had every detail thought out and the beds are so comfy. And pet friendly! (Yay!) Even got hand written cards! We took advantage of the various activities set out for guests, including games on the lawn and the tandem bikes. The town is also a great treat, with your share of eateries and market within walking distance. You're also within driving distance of other towns on the water. Can't thank Geri and Matt and their family enough for making it such a great stay for my own. Don't give staying here a second thought! We will definitely be recommending among friends and family, as well as coming back soon.
