Rachel is a huge foodie, loves traveling to other counties, and loves meeting new people! Rachel is a graduate of Christchurch school and is currently attending the University of Maryland majoring in Eastern Asian Studies. When the dynamic duo is not together, Rachel can be found spending her free time with her family, enjoying delicious food, or listening to K-pop music!

Liz Courtney

Liz is the Inn’s most important asset – she keeps everything sparkling clean and in order, and she always, always has a smile and a listening ear for our guests. Of everyone on our team, she’s actually been at the Inn the longest – she has worked at the Inn since 2016. She’s also our de facto AV expert – Liz is the only member of our team who can always fix the televisions!

Liz adores her family, especially her grandchildren who she spoils rotten. When she’s not at work she’s often eating at her favorite restaurant Captain George’s or Golden Corral in Williamsburg. She loves walking, going to thrift stores and taking road trips; and when she is not working at the inn, Liz has a house cleaning service on the side.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Debra Silva

Debra helps Liz keep the Inn clean and fresh, and she’s also our “Jill of All Trades” around here. She has volunteered to drive more than one guest in a pinch, and we’ll confess, she’s even driven our kids to school, too! When she’s not at the Inn, Debra is a busy mom to four fabulous kids. Her biggest passion (after her family) is not terribly hidden – she loves wrestling, and spending time at home with her dog Oreo.

Elisabeth Gobush

Elisabeth can sometimes be found at the front desk, but she also helps around the back office as needed. She attends Christ Church School, rides horses, does Model UN, and serves as an acolyte at her church. When she’s not at the Inn or at school, she’s probably listening to One Direction or hidden away reading. The Waterman’s Park is her absolute favorite thing about Urbanna, but she loves taking her younger siblings to the playground too. At the Inn she loves hanging out in the Garden and riding the tandem bike. And Elisabeth can’t wait to start driving the Moke!

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
